On May 25, 2018 the new EU General Data Protection Regulation came into force, governing the secure, legally compliant handling of personal data. Whilst it is creating some confusion, uncertainty and fear of severe penalties among many businesses, it is also opening up new opportunities for valuable customer relationship management.

CAS Software among TOP 100 innovation elite

CAS Software AG is delighted to have once again achieved a leading place in the TOP 100 innovation competition, emerging as the best software company in Germany. The award ceremony in Ludwigsburg was a great occasion.

CAS CEO Martin Hubschneider and Customer Centricity expert Professor Dr. Bernhard Kölmel received the award at the 5th German mittelstands summit (SME Summit) in Ludwigsburg.

The Karlsruhe company was the top-ranked software firm, taking second place in the companies with over 250 employees category.

Mentor of the innovation competition Ranga Yogeshwar presented the award, congratulating the two attending representatives for the company's consistent top performance as an innovator.

It is the 25th time since 1993 that compamedia has awarded the TOP 100 mark for outstanding innovative strength and special achievement in innovation to small and medium-sized enterprises. Professor Dr. Nikolaus Franke has been scientific director since 2002. "It is unbelievably fascinating to see how the TOP 100 companies approach the challenges they face. They are the ones who – through their creativity, determination and bravery – deliver what we as a society need: new solutions to problems, resulting in prosperity, growth and jobs," commented Professor Franke at the award ceremony.

CAS PIA 6.0 - lots to look forward to


The new version of the CAS PIA Cloud-based CRM solution is live now. Customers can enjoy new features such as SmartSearch search-as-you-type. SmartSearch sorts the search results by relevance, enabling it to deliver the right results to over 50 percent of all search queries even before active searching has begun.


The notification service provides an additional aid to process mapping. It tells users about changes in the data. If new data records are created, or existing ones deleted, or sales opportunities are flagged as "important", for example, users can subscribe to notifications on request.


The app is available to download from the online stores. In addition to Android and iOS, it is now also available for Windows 10.

Best in customer satisfaction


A new study proves: CAS CRM is the CRM solution with the highest customer satisfaction. The results reflect the pioneering role that CAS Software has adopted in the CRM market.


In terms of customer satisfaction CAS CRM has once again taken the lead. Customers awarded top marks to CAS CRM in particular in the area of key criteria such as functionality, customizability and flexibility. Other factors like suitability for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), practicability and easy access to local CAS partners and project management all scored top marks, too.


CAS CRM makes a compelling case with Customer Centricity

Throughout the study CAS CRM was rated consistently with good marks. The average score of 1.8 for all 39 criteria indicates that CAS Software is clearly ahead of the rest of the field with respect to customer satisfaction.


More than 200 SMEs participated in the survey

The study "Applied CRM 2017/2018, Customer satisfaction, benefits & perspectives" was conducted in cooperation with: The Institute for Industrial Management (FIR) at the RWTH Aachen University, Schwetz Consulting and Trovarit AG. For this study around 200 SMEs were interviewed about their satisfaction, benefits and further development of their CRM solution they are currently using.

CAS Software is finalist of IT Europa Awards


CAS Software AG had been invited as the finalist in the category "Software Vendor of the Year" at the European IT & Software Excellence Awards.


The European IT & Software Excellence Award was held by the IT Europe magazine at the Royal Garden Hotel in London / UK on March 30, 2017. It recognised best practices in customer solutions by Systems Integrators, Solution VARs, MSPs and ISVs across Europe.


The event also recognised service excellence from the vendor and distributor community and 2017 was the ninth year of this annual IT industry highlight. Thanks to our wonderful partners, CAS Software AG had been nominated for the category "Software Vendor of the Year" at the 2017 European IT & Software Excellence Awards and was named among the finalists.

CAS Software AG - triple award winners - elated to win the CASSIOPEIA Award


The CASSIOPEIA Award was premiered at this year's CeBIT, this is a new prize which is awarded to companies for their user and customer experience features. An independent jury placed CAS Software AG well ahead of the competition early on, giving the CRM/xRM software house a convincing lead in three categories.


Despite this being the premiere of this prestigious award, the jury described CAS Software as ground-breaking across multiple categories. Customer satisfaction: “Very good“


Customer satisfaction is given highest priority at CAS Software. This has been confirmed in the current benchpark ranking, a survey conducted among customers and their IT managers.


The recommendation and tendering platform benchpark (operating in German-speaking countries) gathers feedback on experiences made by customers with their CRM providers. It then creates company profiles with benchmarks of the 6 most important areas. The main criterion of the benchmark comparison is the customer's satisfaction with their CRM software and with services from the last 18 months. Only those participants/companies which actually have hands-on experience can help benchmarking the program.


When compared to its competitors, CAS Software clearly stands out in the areas of SME compatibility, fast information exchange and interface/flexibility. Various reasons for CAS Software to receive the “Customer satisfaction: very good“ benchpark seal of approval.

Precious moments on the CAS campus: we look back at an impressive year that included our 30. Jubilee celebrations, and forward to the challenges of the coming year. This summer's 30. Jubilee celebration was not just another celebratory milestone which at some point is consigned to the past.


We see the 30. Jubilee as an ongoing spirit. In other words, a way of appreciating where we have come from and yet also a way to move forward into a bright future. We are already looking forward to welcoming you to We World in 2017. New projects have an energy and power all of their own and as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe once famously wrote: "Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it.

CAS PIA has won the CloudComputing Insider IT Award in the Cloud CRM category. Vogel IT Medien conducted a reader survey on their (insider portals) to find out which suppliers or manufacturers their readers preferred. The awards were presented at a special evening ceremony, where Marcus Bär, Managing Director of CAS CRM was there to receive the award. CAS PIA has never been so attractive — version 5.0 of the CRM Cloud solution is brand new and bursting with many new functions.

  • Working with online forms has never been so easy, now you can have as many as you want and for any data record type. Besides contact forms you can also, for example, create online appointments for websites with ease. The practical benefit to you is that all incoming data are available to you directly in CAS PIA.

CAS PIA wins the "Trust in Cloud" certificate once again

CAS Software AG's CAS PIA solution won the "Trust in Cloud" certificate for the third time in a row after being evaluated during the winter round of the Cloud-EcoSystem meetings. The solution was tested across seven different categories. Cloud-EcoSystem developed the "Trust in Cloud" quality certificate as a decision-making aid for companies and users who are considering investing in SaaS and Cloud solutions.

“Software Hosted in Germany“ quality seal for CAS PIA


The "Software Hosted in Germany" quality seal labels highly secure software which users access via the Internet. As certified company, CAS CRM fullfills all required criteria for software hosted in Germany. Our product CAS PIA has been labeled with this quality seal. The seal is awarded by the German Bundesverband IT-Mittelstand BITMi e.V. (Federal Association for IT in small and medium-sized enterprises) and obliges the solution providers to meet the following criteria:

  • The software and data are hosted in a data center in Germany.
  • The software and data are not made accessible outside of Germany, unless the contractor requests otherwise.
  • Any hosting contract shall only be governed by German law, especially by the German data protection regulations, the German Civil Code (BGB) and the German Commercial Code (HGB).
  • The companies labeled with the “Software Hosted in Germany“ quality seal document their current technical and organizational measures relating to data protection (see §9, German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG)) at BITMi e.V.

The ″Trust in Cloud” quality certificate brings peace of mind to anyone considering purchasing SaaS and Cloud solutions.
This is the second time that CAS Software AG has been awarded the Trust in Cloud certificate for its CAS PIA Cloud solution which was tested across seven categories within the framework of the Cloud EcoSystem winter meeting. Cloud-EcoSystem offer a quality certificate, known as “Trust in Cloud”, that provides decision support to both companies and users who are in the market for SaaS and Cloud solutions.

Benefit from the new feature and embed the CAS PIA contact form in your Web pages. Future contact requests are directly created as new contacts in CAS PIA. This saves you and your customers valuable time. A graphical user interface makes it easy for you to decide which fields are to be entered in the online form for a new contact. CAS PIA automatically creates the necessary HTML code. You do not require any programming knowledge.

On the occasion of the Cloudzone trade fair, the ESB Business School of the Reutlingen university received the award in the Cloud Service category. "We are very happy with this prize as our efforts in the area of 'efficient and cost-saving IT services' are rewarded", says the deputy dean Prof. Dr.-Ing. Harald Augustin. CareCM awarded by the German Ministry of Economics and Technology


CareCM is a software solution build on CAS PIA and was developed for nubedian GmbH to support employees in social and health services. The CRM solution supports processes for consultation, communication and organization as well as individual case monitoring.

CareCM has now been awarded the first prize of the "IKT innovativ", a competition for founders of information and communication technology companies, which is sponsored by the German Ministry of Economics and Technology.

We congratulate nubedian GmbH and are happy that CareCM with its most innovative solution could stand up to 276 competitors.
